The history of the Aquatics reflects both, continuity and change. It was the effort of few young enthusiastic people 20 years ago to satisfy the then badly felt need for a swimming pool in or around Thrissur. From 1985 when it came into existence it slowly grew into a full fledged club with the various facilities and now incorporates the very best of information technology systems too in its administration.

First it had only an office, a swimming pool and changing rooms. Later the club managed to have an indoor wooden Shuttle Badminton court in a land adjacent to the club donated by Kinattingal family.

From there on the progress of the club was very overwhelming and now has Billiards Table, Modern Gymnasium, Cards room, Tennis, Table Tennis, Air conditioned Conference hall, 6 Rooms, Cricket pitch, Restaurant and Out Door catering facilities for the members.

In the inception the Club had 25 Life Members whose' vision' took shape to form Aquatics. The first committee members were
